Welcome! I'm Sarah- the creative mind behind Fable & Fern.
My Artwork takes inspiration from nature- the tiny woven worlds of an ancient forest floor, the hidden intricacy of a small beetle nestled in a huge Pine , the beauty of a Foxes fur glistening in the early morning sun.
My love of foraging, and fascination around Fungi and Insects are a huge influence in my work. When I'm not creating art in my Worcestershire Studio, you can usually find me in the Woods searching for treasure (in the form of wild foods to forage, animal bones or foliage to use in my work and finding wildlife to observe!). You can also find me working locally as a Veterinary Nurse or off exploring with my partner and dogs in a lovingly converted campervan- remote and Scottish are our favourite trips!
I hope that my art encourages people to slow down and take a closer look at their surroundings. The primary goal is to spark an interest in the natural world, while allowing you bring a little piece of natures magic into your home.
